Filter + UV-C. Independently certified.
Beam+ filters what's dissolved and sterilizes what's alive — lead, chlorine, microplastics, bacteria, viruses — then cleans itself every six hours so you never think about it.
What's actually in the tap
Legal limits are built for a city, not for you. Here's what still gets through — in numbers that aren't ours.
A carbon filter bottle can't stop bacteria. A UV-only bottle can't touch lead. You need both — in the same sip.

DuoCore™ technology
Every sip pulls through a precision ring filter in the lid. Lead, copper, chlorine, chloramine, microplastics, pharmaceutical traces — physically removed, not "reduced". 40 gallons per filter, about two months.
Press once. A fully enclosed UV-C core sterilizes the water from the inside in three minutes. The light never runs in open air — a sensor cuts the cycle the moment the lid opens.
Hold for two seconds and Beam+ runs itself — a cycle every six hours, lid and water, so the bottle never becomes the thing that makes you sick. The ring breathes magenta while it works.
Water that moves with you
Fill from the tap you've been avoiding. Two modes: Standard for city water, Blitz for the backcountry.

Purification performance
Beam+ was submitted to SGS — the testing body used by regulators in 140+ countries — for challenge testing against live bacterial and viral cultures. Starting load: 1.2 million colony-forming units per 100 mL. Output: fewer than one.

You're in good company

★★★★★I brought this to Bali for two weeks and used it for everything — brushing teeth, refilling at restaurants, taps in our hotel. I felt completely comfortable with my water for the first time on a trip like this. My husband's already asked for one before our next trip.

★★★★★Extremely easy to use. Total peace of mind when I refill at the gym or in public. Weighs about the same as my old bottle.

"I have bought so many bottles over the years. This is the first one that doesn't get that stale taste by day two. The auto-clean is the whole point."
Jet H. · Verified buyer

★★★★★Tested it on a trip to Mexico — airport, resort, everywhere. We had zero issues, and it was far cheaper than buying bottled water all week.
A.P., Indiana · Verified buyer
★★★★★The cycle is completely silent. I left water in it Monday to Wednesday, let it clean itself, and there was no smell and no metallic taste. Buying one for each of us.

★★★★★Used it in the Bahamas when we ran out of bottled water. One charge lasted well over a week. Someone in our group skipped it and drank the tap — she regretted it.

If it isn't the cleanest water you've ever tasted from a bottle, send it back for a full refund. Even if you've used it. Even if the filter is half-spent.
Both questions deserve an answer. Beam+ was submitted to SGS for third-party challenge testing against live bacterial and viral cultures. Starting load: 1.2 million CFU per 100 mL. Output: less than one. The reports are signed, certified and referenced by number above. We didn't run the test ourselves.
Yes. The DuoCore™ filter captures lead, copper, nickel, arsenic, chlorine, chloramines, microplastics, sediment and pharmaceutical traces on every sip. Rated for 40 gallons, roughly two months at 2–3 bottles a day. Tool-free swap in under a minute.
Yes. The UV-C cylinder is fully enclosed inside the lid assembly and never operates in open air. A sensor cuts the cycle the moment the lid is opened mid-run. The only thing you see is the colored LED ring on the outside.
60 full sterilization cycles per charge. At one or two cycles a day that's one to two months. Running Auto-Clean continuously, expect about two weeks. Full recharge in under two hours on the magnetic cable. Closer to AirPods than to a phone.
Carbon filter bottles improve taste and cut chlorine, but their pores are too large to stop bacteria or viruses. UV-only bottles sterilize but can't touch lead or PFAS. LARQ's PureVis 2 combines both, like Beam+. The differences: Beam+ holds independent SGS certification with public report numbers, runs a 6-hour Auto-Clean cycle, and ships at $49.99 instead of $129.
Yes, empty. Fill from a fountain on the other side, run a cycle before you board.
Try it for 30 days. Take it on a trip. If it isn't the cleanest water you've ever tasted from a bottle, send it back for a full refund. Even if you've used it. No questions.
